Canada finished off their run at the 2018 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup today by squeaking off a 73-72 win against a feisty Nigerian side.
With the win Canada wraps up their time in Tenerife, Spain in 7th place.
Kia Nurse and Miah-Marie Langlois led the scoring for the team, combining together for 31 points.
Miranda played 16 minutes, having fallen into foul trouble early on in the second half. She scored 5 points, including a big 3-pointer in the 4th quarter that helped Canada gain momentum into the final minutes for the win.
At the World Cup, Miranda played in all 6 games, averaging 20 minutes per game. She scored 42 total points, averaging 7 per game.
Next up for Miranda will be rejoining her Basket Landes club team as the French LFB season begins in two weeks time.
