2017 Off and Running

It was a busy January for Miranda and Basket Landes, as the team faced some tough competition with the resumption of LFB regular season play on January 7th.

Since the start of the new year, BL has a 5-1 record that includes advancing into the quarterfinals of the annual Cup of France. All LFB teams have played 16 regular season matchdays and BL is currently in a 3-way tie for first place of the league with 28 points alongside Lattes Montpellier and Charleville-Mézières.

Miranda’s 2017 stats over the first 6 games of the year include averaging 25 minutes and 10 points per game. Her complete stats over this period are:

Next up, BL takes on Villeneuve d’Ascq tomorrow (February 4) in Cup of France quarterfinal action before hitting the road to take on Mondeville on February 11, where Miranda will face off against familiar faces in Team Canada teammates Kim Gaucher and Michelle Plouffe.
